Last July15th -23rd '08, we (Steve an’ Annie) took an MG tour along with 7 other MG’s from Ottawa and Toronto Canada, New York, New Jersey, and one from Nova Scotia (and one Honda). The starting point of the tour was Skaeneatles NY, and included meandering through the Finger Lakes Region of NY, driving the origional Grand Prix Course in Watkins Glen, the “Grand Canyon of NY” in Letchworth State Park outside of Morris NY, the Curtiss Air Museum in Hammondsport NY, the “Grand Canyon of the East” in Tioga State Forest in Pa, and Green Pond NJ. The tour lasted 9 days, and covered over 1400 miles. Only one mechanical mishap outside of Allegany Ny when Pete and Vicky toasted their starter switch in a diner parking lot! A lot of smoke, some flames, and excitement for the locals, but soon taken care of at the B&B with a generic remote starter switch.
